A Woman's World

Near the end of Act One of Macbeth, Macbeth declares that he will proceed no further in the business of killing Duncan.  Analyze Lady Macbeth's response to this declaration.  What tactics does she use to persuade him?  What is that finally persuades him?  What do you think of Lady Macbeth as a person and as persuasive person? (The deadline to post a response to this blog is midnight, Tuesday, March 25, 2014.)

This is from Mattlan Ladner:
I feel that Lady Macbeth does a fine job of persuading Macbeth to kill Duncan. She uses cunning words and evil, premeditated planning to convince Macbeth. She even uses figurative language and compares Macbeth to a beast. She tells him to be a courageous man and kill the king. Another persuasive technique is her way of telling Macbeth he will gain much power from killing Duncan. Also, she even comes up with a plan to get away with the murder and Macbeth agrees to go through with killing the king. I think Lady Macbeth is heartless and selfish since she want Macbeth to kill the king for her own selfish desires. However, Lady Macbeth is a very when it comes to her persuasion.
